Toxic Elements: What You Need to Know

A look at toxic elements from the periodic table and their effects on human health, fertility, and reproductive systems.

By VascuVive Team January 19, 2025

Some of these we know about! For sure. I’m also going to shed light on some toxins in your everyday life that you might not have known about (I’m looking at you.. Vitamins and Herbs!).

Also, I’m tired of the phrase “the poison is in the dose”. Supplement pushers on Twitter use this phrase to make excuses for the toxins they take or sell others, ones they’ve convinced themselves are good. Someone show me the safe limit for Mercury in the human blood?

Here are other elements from the periodic table and earth’s crust, those we know to be toxic to humans:

  • Copper
  • Mercury
  • Uranium
  • Arsenic
  • Lead
  • Aluminum
  • Boron
  • Chromium
  • Manganese

This blog post will be updated as I find PubMed articles showing the toxic effects on humans that each of these elements have. I’ll try and highlight VascuVive principles especially, like fertility, calcification, hormones, reproductive health, etc.

Boron

Study 1: Chemical Disposition of Boron in Animals and Humans

Link to Study

“Boric acid has been shown to adversely affect the reproductive organs of male rats causing testicular atrophy and cellular dystrophy.

[…]

For both the 7- and 28- day studies, the soft tissues did not appear to accumulate boron at levels substantially above that found in blood. Fat tissue contained significantly less boron that other tissues. This is not surprising since boron is probably in the very polar form of boric acid in the body and thus not likely to accumulate in the nonpolar fat tissue.

The adverse reproductive effects in male rats, and the visible testicular lesions, do not appear to be the result of accumulation of very high concentrations of boron in the testis or other reproductive organs. The levels of boron in these tissues are no higher than the boron found in blood and the other soft tissues of the exposed animals.”
